Hi, this is Dave Kats with Kats consultants and I have a tip for you. I've noticed that doctors call office managers by different names. The first step of an office manager is a head CA, and that head CA basically helps the other CA's decide what to do and she works to manage the front desk and maybe the insurance and things like that. Then you have an office manager. The office manager does a lot more than that; she probably does all the accounts receivable and the accounts payable. She may handle some of the other paperwork and some of the statistics that you need for your clinic. The last person is a true office manager an executive office manager and they do things like interface with your account, they do all the work between you and your account they do that. They keep track of sick days and vacation days. They give raises, they do hiring and termination and things like that.
