The Chiropractic New Year

WOW…can you believe 2023 is now nearly in the past and 2024 is just days away.

As we reflect on this past year, there are some important things to consider:

What worked well for us this year?

What marketing programs were the most successful at gaining new patients?

How was our retention rate and what can we do to improve in 2024?

Have we established our marketing plan and calendar for 2024?

Did we meet our goals?  Have we set new goals for 2024 and what can we do to ensure we reach them?

How engaged is our staff?  What training programs can we utilize to develop staff into strategic success partners for the clinic?

If we have grown over the last year, what procedures need to be changed?  If we did not realize the growth for which we had hoped, what can we do to shift to more growth in 2024?

Were our profit margins at an acceptable level to provide the income you desire?

What are we doing to build clinic value and do we have an exit strategy in place?

Have I planned out my time off for 2024 and are those dates added to the calendar?

Have we reviewed all of our compliance measures - documentation, Medicare, No Surprises Act, HIPAA, etc - and done our annual training?

This of course is just a short list of questions to consider here at the end of the year.  Think deeply about where your practice currently stands and where you want it to go in the future.

Napoleon Hill famously said, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

There is tremendous opportunity in Chiropractic practice today and 2024 should prove to be even better.  Those who put on their entrepreneur hat and strategically plan, believe, and innovate will be best poised to capitalize on those opportunities.  

Remember, success doesn’t pursue you.  You must go out and get it!
